Adams Heating & Cooling is happy to offer our Anderson Township, OH customers two options when it comes to water heaters.
Many people are familiar with the traditional water heater. It works by storing water in a tank and keeping it heated to a preset temperature.
Tankless water heaters are a new idea to many people. How does it work? As the name implies, there is no tank to store water. Instead, water is heated on an as-needed basis. A couple of the key benefits of a tankless water heater are that you are not heating water until it’s needed and you won’t run out of hot water.
Let the water heater professionals at Adams Heating & Cooling help you determine which type of water heater is best for your situation.
Indoor Air Quality
Between work and home life, the average person spends about 90% of their time indoors! Indoor air can be 2 to 5 times more polluted than outside air. In fact, the Environmental Protection Agency ranked indoor air quality as a top 5 environmental danger.
A well-insulated home can help with your energy bills by keeping a constant temperature, but that also leads to the same air being recycled through your home each time you run your air conditioner or furnace. Be sure you have proper filtration in place to prevent allergens and bacteria from circulating around your air.
Adams Heating & Cooling can help you breathe easy. Call us today at 513-474-1600 and we can put together a plan for your home!
According to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Star program, leaky ducts in attics or crawlspaces can account for 20% or more of a home’s heating and cooling energy losses. This makes it difficult to keep your house comfortable and can result in higher utility bills. Some signs that you may have leaky ducts include:
- High Summer and Winter utility bills
- Rooms that are difficult to heat and cool
- Stuffy rooms that never seem to feel comfortable
- Ducts are located in an attic, crawlspace, or the garage
- Tangled or kinked flexible ducts in your system
Learn more about how you can detect, prevent, and fix air duct issues with the help of the professionals at Adams Heating & Cooling. Find out more about duct testing, duct insulation, and duct cleaning and how they relate to and impact indoor air quality.
Humidifiers and Dehumidifiers
The comfort of your home not only depends on the air temperature but also the amount of moisture in the air.
Cold weather typically means dry, uncomfortable air. Dry air can cause respiratory problems as well as damage wooden furniture. Whole home humidifiers emit water vapor to increase the humidity in your home.
On the other hand, hot weather can mean thick, humid air. This can lead to condensation on your windows, mold spots on walls or ceilings, blistering paint or peeling wallpaper, just to list a few issues. A whole home dehumidifier removes excess moisture from the air in your home.
Humidifiers can improve your indoor air quality as well as positively impact the overall health of your family and health of your home. Controlling the humidity in your home will help protect not only your respiratory system but also your wood floors, furniture and artwork.

Gas Furnace Installation in Anderson Township, OH 45244
“Our furnace and a/c were about 17 years old when we decided to bite the bullet and replace them before we were left in the cold, literally…
We decided to call a locally owned family business. If you’ve stayed around since 1953 you must be doing something right!
Tony Potts is more than a salesman. He is an HVAC Specialist and a pro in the customer service business! Tony listened to our concerns and wrote a proposal that we could live with. The installers were at our home two days later. I cannot say enough about these young men: professional, courteous, polite. They cleaned up toroughly afterward and were finished with the entire job in about 5 hours. We look forward to doing business with Adams twice yearly when they service our new equipment.
We definitely recommend Adams!”

Air Conditioner Replacement in Anderson Township, OH 45255
“After our old AC broke, Adams was quick to send a service man to our home. He diagnosed that the old system was not serviceable (evaporator and condenser both needed replacement). He explained everything to us about what the problem was and about the new Carrier system with pricing. Within a few days Adams sent installers who replaced the old with a new Carrier system. The installers arrived on time, did a great job, were very friendly and courteous, and explained everything that they were doing as the installation progressed. I know you will be pleased with this company.”

Air Conditioner Replacement in Anderson Township, OH 45244
“Eric came out and tried to nurse along our 34-year-old air conditioner for one more year. When that didn’t work, John looked at our unit and gave us the options for replacing it. Good news is that John applied the payment we made for Eric’s repair call to the new AC, which they didn’t really need to do, but they did. Long story short, the work crew showed up on time, completed the work on time, and we have had wonderful, cool air conditioning in our house ever since. A week later, btw, John came by to inspect the crew’s work to make sure the unit was running properly and that we were satisfied with the results. Adams went above and beyond for us!”

Gas Furnace Replacement in Anderson Township, OH 45255
“I have been a long-time customer with Adams. They are continually reliable, professional and pleasant to deal with. During the twice annual maintenance visits, the technician takes the time to explain what work was performed as well as tips to extend the life of the unit. As the maintenance visit was concluding this past April, the technician made a suggestion that even though the unit was in fine shape, its age (20+ years) could lead to more issues down the road. Within a few days I called the office and set up an appointment with Tony to review new units and potential payment options. As always, he was polite and professional, taking the time to explain the various functions and capabilities of the units as well as answering my numerous questions. Soon after,my wife and I decided to purchase a new Carrier Infinity furnace. Installation took less than a day, the installers were friendly and efficient. Tony followed up a few days later with a visit and patiently walked me through the various functions of the new unit, including the wireless capability of the thermostat! Thanks Tony!
I would HIGHLY recommend the helpful crew at Adams Heating & Cooling!”

Water Heater Installation in Anderson Township, OH 45230
“Let me save you the trouble of researching companies to purchase from and to schedule installation…just call Adams for it all. Long story short…we woke up to an old leaking water heater. After deciding whether or not I was going to tackle this project myself, I decided it was probably best to call a professional. I called Adams around 11:00AM and we had a new water heater installed by 3pm the same day. Thanks to everyone who made this a painless and friendly experience. Ingrid in the office, Tom, Eric, and Lane on the installation….and everyone else involved….thank you.”

Gas Furnace Installation in Anderson Township, OH 45230
“I was very impressed with this company from the beginning. We received 4 different quotes from 4 different companies. While they weren’t the cheapest, they offered the best service and product out of all 4 companies. We were told on Saturday (by a different company) that our heat exchanger was cracked. We called Tony that same day and went over the offer he gave us in October. They were able to come out that Monday and get started. They had the furnace up and going that same day, which was good because the snow hit us that night. They came out on Wednesday and finished up the job. I had to have another return vent installed and they were able to install in easily and without much difficulty. I also had a supply vent that the previous owner had installed under the fridge. I discussed this with Chase while he was installing the furnace, and he told me it would be no problem to move this vent so I could have heat and ac to my kitchen. They also installed this easily and my kitchen feels like the rest of the house. They were very easy to work with, due to personal commitments I had to leave my house several times while they were here and they continued working with no interruption and I fully trusted to leave them alone in the house. They left the area cleaner than it was before. Tony also followed up with me about the installation and if I had any questions. I also signed up for the service plan because it gave me a warranty for free labor on my hvac system for 10 years.”
