Furnace Replacement

Sometimes a repair is not sufficient to fix your furnace. Sometimes a new furnace is the most cost-effective and energy-efficient way to go. We will always be honest with you about a possible furnace replacement. We value our time and your money––we don’t want to perform repairs or service on an appliance that is in need of replacement.

If you do need a furnace replacement, we know how overwhelming it can be. Here are some of the frequently asked questions about furnaces that we get from some of our Cincinnati, OH residents:

What Are The Different Types Of Furnaces?

Single Stage: A single-stage furnace has only one stage of operation. It can either be turned on or turned off.

Two Stage: A two-stage furnace has two settings––full and half speed. This is a more efficient way to heat and provides for better comfort, because it can move the air at a slower pace.

Variable Stage or Modulating: A variable-stage or modulating furnace modulates the speed and heat output based on the temperature outside and the desired comfort level. This furnace only works as much as you need it, making this type the most energy-efficient type of furnace.

What Is AFUE?

AFUE, or Annualized Fuel Utilization Efficiency, is a measure of furnace-heating efficiency. The higher the AFUE, the more efficient the furnace.

What Size Furnace Do I Need?

We can calculate the correct size furnace for your home. The number of BTUs, or British Thermal Units, needed to heat your home is dependent on a number of variables. Contrary to what you might think, a bigger furnace may not necessarily mean more heating power for your home. Call us at Adams Heating & Cooling, and we can set up an appointment to calculate the furnace size you might need.

Gas Furnace Replacement in Anderson Township, OH 45255

“I have been a long-time customer with Adams. They are continually reliable, professional and pleasant to deal with. During the twice annual maintenance visits, the technician takes the time to explain what work was performed as well as tips to extend the life of the unit. As the maintenance visit was concluding this past April, the technician made a suggestion that even though the unit was in fine shape, its age (20+ years) could lead to more issues down the road. Within a few days I called the office and set up an appointment with Tony to review new units and potential payment options. As always, he was polite and professional, taking the time to explain the various functions and capabilities of the units as well as answering my numerous questions. Soon after,my wife and I decided to purchase a new Carrier Infinity furnace. Installation took less than a day, the installers were friendly and efficient. Tony followed up a few days later with a visit and patiently walked me through the various functions of the new unit, including the wireless capability of the thermostat! Thanks Tony!
I would HIGHLY recommend the helpful crew at Adams Heating & Cooling!”

Gas Furnace Installation in Loveland, OH 45140

“Adams replaced our 20 year old system: new Furnace, A/C, Humidifier, Air Purifier, Thermostat, ++. We are not only incredibly happy with the new system (so quiet and efficient) but Tony and the install team made it pain free and reminded us why we switched to Adam’s in the first place. A big purchase always comes with some stress and you want it know it is done right. Adam’s gave us a fair price and superior service with attention to every detail. I told Tony what was important to our family and he walked through the options and how they would effect our comfort and wallet. There were some minor changes that had to be done to make the system run at peak performance that they found at install and it was all done at no additional cost. We are confident that our new system is the right choice for us for the next 20 years and we will only have Adam’s maintain it.”

Gas Furnace Installation in Anderson Township, OH 45230

“I was very impressed with this company from the beginning. We received 4 different quotes from 4 different companies. While they weren’t the cheapest, they offered the best service and product out of all 4 companies. We were told on Saturday (by a different company) that our heat exchanger was cracked. We called Tony that same day and went over the offer he gave us in October. They were able to come out that Monday and get started. They had the furnace up and going that same day, which was good because the snow hit us that night. They came out on Wednesday and finished up the job. I had to have another return vent installed and they were able to install in easily and without much difficulty. I also had a supply vent that the previous owner had installed under the fridge. I discussed this with Chase while he was installing the furnace, and he told me it would be no problem to move this vent so I could have heat and ac to my kitchen. They also installed this easily and my kitchen feels like the rest of the house. They were very easy to work with, due to personal commitments I had to leave my house several times while they were here and they continued working with no interruption and I fully trusted to leave them alone in the house. They left the area cleaner than it was before. Tony also followed up with me about the installation and if I had any questions. I also signed up for the service plan because it gave me a warranty for free labor on my hvac system for 10 years.”

Gas Furnace Installation in Cincinnati, OH 45245

“Late Saturday I noticed furnace leaking water. I called and they had serviceman here early Sunday. He thought it was loose connection but when it continued to leak he came back later in afternoon and turned water off to humidifier and said if it continued to leak we would need a new furnace. When still leaking I called and Tony came out Monday and explained our options. We purchased a new modulating gas furnace and a humidifier. They installed Tuesday and we are very happy with the whole process. Recommend highly.”
