Change Your Filter!
Usually Adams changes your filters for you depending on what kind of maintenance package you choose. But that does not mean you can ignore them in between! Ideally, filters should be changed from once a month to once every three months, depending on the type of filter.
Standard filters are made of fiberglass and rimmed with light cardboard. This type of filter is designed to keep your equipment running efficiently by removing particles in the air. They are not intended to clean the air. Standard filters should be changed monthly while heating or cooling equipment is in use.
If you want to filter the air that is running through your equipment for increased air quality, you will need higher efficiency filters designed to trap smaller particles like dust and pet dander. High efficiency filters should be changed every three months.
Simple maintenance will bring big rewards!
