“Adams Heating/Cooling is an absolute joy, because when I got problems, they’re always there to help me, And I know that they are people I can trust. Just had to replace my entire AC system because your pre-dated the new Freon. But they made it easy, and a pleasure, and had financing in place so that it wasn’t too taxing on my budget. I can’t recommend them highly enough, they are really competent and helpful people.”
“We were having an issue with our 26 year old furnace and knew that it was time to replace it as well as the air conditioner that was probably 30+ years old. We planned to replace both units at the same time when one went out. My father had used Adams Heating when he had his home and knew they were reliable. Tony Potts met with us to review our current system and made recommendations to fit our needs for the foreseeable future. He didn’t try to over-sell us products we didn’t need. He listened to our questions and made reasonable suggestions for us to consider. He was able to schedule the installation of the new furnace, AC unit and hot water heater the next day! The crew arrived on time the next morning and were gone by 4:15 pm that same day. They were very professional and made every effort to limit the intrusion. They cleaned up before they left and made sure we understood the thermostat and how it worked. Tony stopped by the next day to review the crew’s work and see if we had any questions. Everyone we dealt with at Adams Heating was so polite and made sure we were comfortable with our purchase and their work. We signed up for the annual maintenance contract and are happy that we know they will be there to help us in the future. We highly recommend Tony and the whole Adams Heating crew.”

Dave came out and did the maintenance on the heat pump and fixed the hot water heater in no time. My son also uses them after two companies told him his gas furnace needed replaced called Adams they inspected it and said it only needed a capacitor. In my 72 years I have never dealt with a more honest company.”

“The night before Christmas Eve, our furnace stopped working. Adams replaced our HVAC system 4 years ago and we have the twice a year “check up” service. They returned my message 1st thing the next morning and came out within a few hours to check the system and adjust the settings. Just a short while after the tech left, the thermometer went black and agin the unit stopped working. The tech came right back and tweaked the settings more to meet the unique weather conditions we were facing. The furnace has been working perfectly since. I can’t express my gratitude for the quick response and dedication to get it right.”

“I cannot thank Adams Heating enough for their service. Adams Heating is the best when it comes to service and customer service. Long story short…the oil company that has delivered my oil for 27 years has closed up shop. I called another oil provider and when the gentleman came out to deliver the oil said I had a small problem. My pipes to my oil tank was 1 1/2 inches and his nozzle on his truck was 2 inches plus I needed a whistle. I contacted Adams Heating first and spoke to Tony who said he could help. He ordered the parts and within a few days his men came out and changed my pipes to my oil tank to 2 inches and installed a whistle. I had the oil delivered the next day and Adams Heating came out and bled the lines to the furnace and I had heat!!!
I had Adams Heating install a new furnace in 2019 and every year I have them do the yearly maintenance. I will continue to use them in the future.

“Tony came to consult us on new supply and return duct work in an existing room. He very thoughtfully review our options and came up with a good solution. He sent out Dillion and Lane to do the installation. He also suggested other services that we felt would improve our air quality as well as a service plan. He professionally answered our questions and was a delight to work with. After the installation, he returned to check the quality of the work and to make sure we were satisfied. We decided to call a locally owned family business. If you’ve stayed around since 1953 you must be doing something right!
Tony Potts is more than a salesman. He is an HVAC Specialist and a pro in the customer service business! Tony listened to our concerns and wrote a proposal that we could live with. The installers were at our home two days later. I cannot say enough about these young men: professional, courteous, polite. They cleaned up toroughly afterward and were finished with the entire job in about 5 hours. We look forward to doing business with Adams twice yearly when they service our new equipment.

“The AC unit went out on Thursday and they sent a service tech on Friday and determined the compressor was shot. Tony their sales rep. on Friday came out gave us options and was great to work with and was never pushy for us to decide on any one unit. I was not there the day of installation but my son said they showed up on time and completed the install in a timely manner. I have been in construction for 40 yrs. and know quality work when I see it. They did a great/very professional job on the installation.

“We had Adams Heating and Cooling install a furnace humidifier, an ionizer, and a new water heater just recently. Tony Potts, their sales representative, came to the house to evaluate our needs. Our water heater was really old and Tony said it had signs of previous leaking and it was rusting. We decided to replace it rather than wait for it to fail. Additionally, we have a 1942 rebuilt Mason Hamlin grand piano in the lower level of our condo and we wanted to make sure the sound board wouldn’t dry out in the winter–so we knew we wanted a furnace humidifying system. And, since my wife has allergies, we wanted something to purify the air in addition to the UV light we already have. Tony Potts is the quintessential salesman. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, understanding, and explains everything. I don’t think I have ever met a better service representative in my life!! He’s a keeper!! The installation went smoothly. Chase and Zack were very efficient and respectful. Chase was especially knowledgeable and kept us in the loop as to where they were in the installation process. What wonderful employees you have at Adams Heating and Cooling!! Our neighbors recommended Adams when we moved here from Michigan last summer. We are so glad we have them for all our HVAC needs.”

“After our old AC broke, Adams was quick to send a service man to our home. He diagnosed that the old system was not serviceable (evaporator and condenser both needed replacement). He explained everything to us about what the problem was and about the new Carrier system with pricing. Within a few days Adams sent installers who replaced the old with a new Carrier system. The installers arrived on time, did a great job, were very friendly and courteous, and explained everything that they were doing as the installation progressed. “We purchased a heat pump from Adams. We did not have central air or a heat pump previously and relied on window a.c. units to cool the house. Tony Potts came out and did the estimate. He gave us a few options to consider before making the purchase and was very professional and courteous. The crew that did the install, too, were very professional. “Eric came out and tried to nurse along our 34-year-old air conditioner for one more year. When that didn’t work, John looked at our unit and gave us the options for replacing it. Good news is that John applied the payment we made for Eric’s repair call to the new AC, which they didn’t really need to do, but they did. Long story short, the work crew showed up on time, completed the work on time, and we have had wonderful, cool air conditioning in our house ever since. A week later, btw, John came by to inspect the crew’s work to make sure the unit was running properly and that we were satisfied with the results. Adams went above and beyond for us!”

“I have been a long-time customer with Adams. They are continually reliable, professional and pleasant to deal with. During the twice annual maintenance visits, the technician takes the time to explain what work was performed as well as tips to extend the life of the unit. As the maintenance visit was concluding this past April, the technician made a suggestion that even though the unit was in fine shape, its age (20+ years) could lead to more issues down the road. Within a few days I called the office and set up an appointment with Tony to review new units and potential payment options. As always, he was polite and professional, taking the time to explain the various functions and capabilities of the units as well as answering my numerous questions. Soon after,my wife and I decided to purchase a new Carrier Infinity furnace. Installation took less than a day, the installers were friendly and efficient. Tony followed up a few days later with a visit and patiently walked me through the various functions of the new unit, including the wireless capability of the thermostat! Thanks Tony!

“I was having furnace problems and called a company and he came out told me what I needed. When I tried to get a hold of him to tell him let’s do it he never responded. So I called Adams Heating & Cooling. Dave was here the same day. We discussed what I needed which was a new Fuel Oil Furnace. Tony and Chase came the very next day to install it. They did a great job and was cleaning up when I got home from work. A week later Dave and Chase came back to make sure the furnace was running efficiently for my house. And Dave went over the features of the thermostat in detail and made sure I understood before he left. Over all these guys are great, polite, respectful and knowledgeable. “I was very impressed with this company from the beginning. We received 4 different quotes from 4 different companies. While they weren’t the cheapest, they offered the best service and product out of all 4 companies. We were told on Saturday (by a different company) that our heat exchanger was cracked. We called Tony that same day and went over the offer he gave us in October. They were able to come out that Monday and get started. They had the furnace up and going that same day, which was good because the snow hit us that night. They came out on Wednesday and finished up the job. I had to have another return vent installed and they were able to install in easily and without much difficulty. I also had a supply vent that the previous owner had installed under the fridge. I discussed this with Chase while he was installing the furnace, and he told me it would be no problem to move this vent so I could have heat and ac to my kitchen. They also installed this easily and my kitchen feels like the rest of the house. They were very easy to work with, due to personal commitments I had to leave my house several times while they were here and they continued working with no interruption and I fully trusted to leave them alone in the house. They left the area cleaner than it was before. Tony also followed up with me about the installation and if I had any questions. I also signed up for the service plan because it gave me a warranty for free labor on my hvac system for 10 years.”

“On a cold, snowy, icy night in February we discovered our 20 year old heat pump covered in ice. We switched the thermostat to Emergency heat and called Adams when they opened. They were awesome – they contacted Dave and had him come directly to our home instead of going into the office first. He discovered that we had more than 1 problem – the thermostat was not working and needed to be replaced, and the heat pump was very low on freon. He explained that the unit was also low on freon when he did the summer PM and even lower now, and freon is very expensive. Dave offered options on new systems and also told us about a great Manufacturer promotion. He left information with us to help us decide but, he made sure we had heat and a new thermostat before he left and did not charge anything for the service and parts that day. We had a new system/new thermostat installed 3 days later and workmanship was flawless. Tony came back about 2 weeks later and asked if there were any issues, thoroughly explained the smart thermostat to us, explained how to program it, downloaded a 5 day forecast app, and put the system through a series of checks to be sure it was running properly. Tony and Dave are professional, honest, and really know the systems they sell. Service is amazing and this “family” is very reliable!”

“I had Adams Heating & Cooling come take a look at our 30 year old oil furnace that stopped working. Their experienced field team came out the same day and identified the problem and they confirmed my fears, the cost for repairs to such an old unit just didn’t make sense. It was going to need to be replaced, and quick because it was the middle of winter! Luckily, Tony and his team were able to get a new oil furnace and heat pump installed only two days later and with a financing package that we could afford. The energy efficiency provided by the heat pump is an added bonus that we will be enjoying for years to come. Now our house is warmer than it has ever been AND we will have air conditioning in the summer too – which we did not have before. Everything went so smoothly and easily, we couldn’t be happier with the whole process.”

“Late Saturday I noticed furnace leaking water. I called and they had serviceman here early Sunday. He thought it was loose connection but when it continued to leak he came back later in afternoon and turned water off to humidifier and said if it continued to leak we would need a new furnace. When still leaking I called and Tony came out Monday and explained our options. We purchased a new modulating gas furnace and a humidifier. They installed Tuesday and we are very happy with the whole process. Recommend highly.”

Having recently bought a property in which the house inspector told me the heating/cooling system was working, I found out a few months later the heat pump was completely inoperable. The Adams technicians were very knowledgeable, professional and efficient, and went above and beyond. After installing the heat pump outside, they corrected original mistakes in hooking up the air handler and humidifer and placed the controls in a more appropriate location. All inside work was in a very cramped space upstairs. They addressed every challenge and complication without raising the original estimate. They sent enough workers to get it all done in one day and no mess left behind. No pressure sales. Very fair prices. Can’t say enough good things about this company,”

John came to our home and gave us a full comprehensive review of all of the services and what we might be interested in -he was very non-pressure about it. Both systems installed over two days. Tommy was the lead installer -very personable and professional -covered my family room carpet with tarps and wore booties on their shoes. Was raining and AC Work got their shoes quite muddy. All of our questions were answered and the new thermostat was explained. Eric and Dave were also involved in a recheck which was a job that completely satisfied our needs. “Our furnace died on Sunday (that snowy, cold, awful day) and we started calling furnace repair companies. Adams called back right away. Dave Smith came within one hour, diagnosed the problem, and had us warming again in a short period of time. He cleaned up after himself and it looked like he had never been there. “I called Adams heating the Secretary was very nice, professional. She told me the cost for a diagnostic fee , I told her that furnace was working but it would not shut off on its own when it should. So I scheduled an appointment for one of their techs to come out and look at it. She told me the time and date , and that worked good for me. The tech came out , was verynice, polite, and professional. He told me what was wrong with the furnace, told me the cost of the part, explained to me why the furnace was not working correctly, and he got it to working right. Also told me if I had problems with the furnace to call them back, and they would come back out and fix the problem with no cost to me with I did like, because I have a small income. “Had an unexpected issue with my oil furnace. Via website I sent a request for service on Sunday night. By 7:30 am I received a call and 2 technicians were here by 9am on Monday. Furnace was shot and needed replaced. By 10am 5 more technicians were here and 4 hrs later I had a new furnace and flue liner installed.
